Welcome to the NIHR CLAHRC Greater Manchester
The Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) Greater Manchester is part of the National Institute for Health Research and is a partnership between providers and commissioners from the NHS, industry, the third sector and the University of Manchester. We aim to improve the health of people in Greater Manchester and beyond through carrying out research and putting it into practice.
As part of our PLANS for stroke project, we’re working to support recovery and reduce social isolation for people affected by stroke.
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded funding as part of the NIHR CLAHRC research capacity in dementia care pilot programme (RCDCP).
Dr Chris Gibbons has been awarded a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) post-doctoral research fellowship.
