The Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) Greater Manchester is part of the National Institute for Health Research and is a partnership between providers and commissioners from the NHS, industry, the third sector and the University of Manchester. We aim to improve the health of people in Greater Manchester and beyond through carrying out research and putting it into practice.

“Focus on Stroke”, a new online resource from the NIHR, aims to raise public awareness of the exciting developments happening in stroke research.
We are currently recruiting to a number of roles, based both at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and The University of Manchester.
The excellent results of the improving the physical health of people with severe mental illness work have led MMHSCT to roll-out a new model across the Trust.
