We are currently recruiting for a Research Associate and an Administration Manager.

Research Associate (deadline: 27 October)

You will work on a study investigating the costs, contributions and economic value of family care-giving in end-of-life cancer care. Family carers provide vital support to enable patients with cancer to be cared for at home at end-of-life. However, this contribution remains largely ‘invisible’ and unrecognised. This role will involve working with researchers, local carer groups and the Office of National Statistics (ONS) to develop and conduct a national survey of bereaved carers to investigate the end-of-life care they provided and the impact on their wellbeing.

Administration Manager (please note that this position will close once sufficient applications are received)

You will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative management of CLAHRC GM, including leadership of the core administrative team, oversight of finances, and the implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures.

You will be responsible for providing management support to the CLAHRC GM Board, executive, senior leadership team and project teams. This includes management of meeting arrangements, ensuring that meeting papers are prepared and circulated in advance of meetings, and organising the minuting of meetings. You will also be responsible for providing support to the Director and Corporate Services Manager on any matters necessary to carry towards their functions.
