We’re looking for an experienced Communications Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting us to achieve our goals by strategically communicating our work using a range of methods.
You will lead on all of the NIHR CLAHRC Greater Manchester’s strategic communications activity. Working in partnership with other groups and our partners where appropriate, you will be responsible for and lead on internal communications, partner and funder communications, media relations, stakeholder management, reputation management and marketing outputs.
We’re looking for someone educated to at least degree level with solid and demonstrable experience in a communications leadership role. You will have substantial experience of working within marketing and communications including experience of managing websites and social media accounts, dealing with the media, creating content for a variety of online and offline platforms, the delivery of corporate publications and event management, in addition to experience of working in a fast-paced and pressurised environment with high profile organisations.
